GasLog in TW today:

GasLog Partners forecasts higher LNG demand:

GasLog Partners foresee a sustained recover in LNG shipping rates as it beat Street consensus for the fourth quarter.
The Monaco-based MLP said an 82% rise in TFDE rates to $82,000 a day in late December from a year ago allows for confidence in a continuance of the current market recovery.
"While we expect there to be seasonality in both LNG prices and LNG shipping rates during 2018, the longer-term outlook for LNG shipping day rates remains positive," the company said in its fourth-quarter earnings report released today.
GasLog Partners said it may take time for this winter's strength in the spot market to translate to the multi-year charter market, but increasing levels of tendering activity for long-term charters are being seen.
The MLP said this is an 'encouraging development" as it eyes fixing open days for three ships whose charters end this year.
Further, some off-takers for LNG projects set to start production over the next two years have yet to secure shipping requirements, the company pointed out.
"We expect a number of vessels for these projects to be sourced from vessels currently operating in the short-term market, but also expect the coming increase in LNG supply to require additional LNG carriers beyond those curently on the water and in the orderbook."

Profitable quarter
GasLog Partners posted fourth-quarter profit of $28.4m, up from earnings of $24.8m a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at $0.57, down from $0.62 12 months earlier, just beating analyst estimates of $0.56.
Revenue fell slightly to $77.4m from $78.6m in the same period a year ago.
That happened primarily due to profit attributable to general partner GasLog's operations falling to $522,000 from $9.8m a year ago.

New records set
Highlights for the quarter included acquiring the 155,000-cbm tri-fuel diesel electric LNG carrier Solaris (built 2014).
The vessel is on a multi-year charter with a Shell subsidiary through 2021 with two five-year extension options.
"Following the successful acquisition of the Solaris, GasLog Partners delivered our highest ever quarterly partnership performance results for revenues, EBITDA and distributable cash, among other metrics," chief executive Andrew Orekar said.
"As a result of this strong performance, we are increasing our cash distribution for the fifth consecutive quarter to $0.5235 per unit annualized, while maintaining conservative distribution coverage."
The company said the entire year was also significant for the MLP "on several measures," having acquired three LNG carriers from GasLog, raising $281.1m in net equity proceeds and retiring $153.8m in debt.
Full-year profit jumped to $94.1m from $77.3m in 2016 as revenue gained to $165.3m from $148.7m.

Hehhe, 15???
